Lisa Johnson

Lisa is the Chief Operating Officer of Encharter Insurance, bringing more than 40 years of experience across the insurance industry, including brokerage, consulting, and carrier environments. She is recognized for her strategic leadership, operational expertise, and ability to drive growth while enhancing customer experience.

Prior to joining Encharter, Lisa served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Renaissance Alliance, a premier independent insurance agency group. In this role, she partnered with both the corporate organization and member agencies to develop growth strategies, strengthen market positioning, and improve customer satisfaction.

Earlier in her career, Lisa managed self-insurance groups at R.E. Moulton, Inc., one of the largest Managing General Underwriters of Excess Loss coverage. She was also a partner and Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Lynch, Ryan & Associates, Inc., a pioneering workers’ compensation loss-reduction consultancy. The firm gained national recognition for its results and service excellence, serving Fortune 1000 clients including The New York Times and International Paper.

Following the firm’s acquisition by The Travelers Companies, Lisa remained with the organization as it operated as an independent subsidiary. She served as a marketing liaison to Travelers’ national accounts group, working with various Fortune 500 clients. Earlier roles include positions as a broker with Rollins Burdick Hunter (now Aon) and as an underwriter with Aetna.

Lisa is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH. Outside of work, she is an avid exercise enthusiast who enjoys biking and hiking with her dog, as well as spending time with her family.
